As previously mentioned, the soulclap headed to the Falls Festival with the best friend (aka v2.0) and her husband (J-Bomb) for new years celebrations.
We had a rad time. Here are some of the memories. You should thank me for them later.

Sexxxy boys. Well, second from the right in the hott blue jeans and yellow tshirt. O-Dog (formerly known as fallopian teapot, yo) could hardly keep her hands to herself.

We popped in to see the Fleet Foxes' "baroque harmonic pop". The tres baroque, muy harmonic and flighty pop songs were enjoyed by me until bluejuice dropped in.

Moments after their set, but probably during Augie March's, we spotted Stav eating food from the Lion's club's BOLLYWOOD FOOD, Authentic Indian Cuisine tent. A man that was standing with Stavros tapped the O-Dog and I on our heads as he walked past. Another brush with fame that will not be forgotten. Ooo, here's the Indian food place. I like the Jesus on the crucifix touch. You know, given that the majority of Indians are not Christians.

After the 'March, who I'm fairly sure didn't play the one song of theirs that I actually like, we hung around for British India. Their pop tunes were better in person than on the radio and I wondered why I hadn't seen them live before. As a Melbournite, I feel ashamed.
Following BI were Labjacd, Late of the Pier and A-Trak. We had no desire to witness their sets, so we ventured out to Vintage Town, or the Village, which had been closed earlier in the day.
I didn't take my camera with me because it looked like rain. Vintage Town was about a kilometre into the forest. The walk was terrifying, something out of the Blair Witch Project, I've been told (I've never actually seen the BWP). We survived. On our arrival it pissed down, so we went into the Brain Space, which I'd hoped would be some kind of brain maze (it wasn't) and found Danilo. Danilo (is that how his name is spelled) had a terribly elastic face. He looked and dressed just as I imagine David Sedaris did in his youth.
Day two tomorrow, I'm off to the movies.
