on the other hand, people i dislike

i don't really watch a lot of footy-related tv, but for some reason i have come across a fair few episodes of footy classified on channel 9.

and bigger pair of irritating, self-righteous, chauvinistic knobheads than craig hutchison and gary lyon i have never seen (wayne carey left following his last boon head blunder). the way they talk to caroline wilson, or to be more accurate, talk over her, is just disgraceful and i can't believe the way she manages to keep her composure and put up with it week after week. they shout her down, automatically disagree with practically all of her opinions while barely listening to what she's saying, and generally treat her as if she's some twit come to ruin their boys night, rather than a respected journalist with more skill and integrity in her little finger than either of them could ever have put together. and i actually used to think gary lyon was an alright chap, though granted i'd only ever heard him give thirty second interviews on the radio before.

anyway, i congratulate caroline on her ability to rise above the ill-tempered comments and plain rudeness displayed by her panel mates, though if she should ever crack and decide to smack both them in the crotch with a brick i would totally understand why.
